8 weeks at Caswell Hill School, 204 30th Street West.
Beginner Hula-Hoop: 7 - 8 pm
This class is for people who are unfamiliar with hula-hooping and movement practices. The eight weeks will focus on core waist hooping, and progress slowly to expand your hooping skills. Practice will include getting comfortable hooping on the whole body core, from the knees to the neck. Basic off body hand control hooping will make up the foundations of this class. Hoops are provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.

More Hula-Hooping: 8 - 9 pm
This class is designed for people who have some experience with hula-hooping or are familiar and comfortable with a movement practice. More hooping will focus on revisiting tricks you know and adding more to your repertoire. This class is an embodied approach, expanding on your hooping skills to incorporate active legs, and movement throughout your body as you manipulate the hoop. Coordination and control are key areas of focus to help improve your hoop skills and flow. Hoops are provided, however, students are encouraged to bring your own.

About the Facilitator -
Karla Kloeble is a dynamic and inspiring individual, a lifelong student of movement and loves motivating her students with embodied empowerment.
Her classes blend 20 years of dance training and performance with 6 years of contemporary circus artistry into an accessible form of movement study for all. She is well acquainted with the physical mechanics of movement and executes teaching her students with reassurance, patience and positivity.
